1998 the last time a team not based in St.Louis or Montreal won the NL. That year it was the Los Angeles Azzurri now the Metal Gods.

I think you mean won the World Series while representing the NL. .. not just won the NL. Brooklyn won the NL but lost the WS like 11 or 12 seasons ago.
