I have a team in the Speaker Wilson League that has been using the Minor league system 5 for about 1.3 seasons. It didn't take me long to like the new system. An owner has much more control of CPs in the minors.June 02, 2017 at 11:43AM View BBCode
Thanks for explaining this. Despite reading a few different posts on the topic, it was still a bit confusing. Our current Minor League system is the only one I have used. But this sounds promising.June 02, 2017 at 01:17PM View BBCode
I do like the switch, you can develop more guys and take a few more chances. I love the later rounds becoming more important too, so much more strategy. It will be very interesting in this league to see how everyone adapts and the different approaches teams take. KWJune 03, 2017 at 05:47AM View BBCode
I'm using it in other leagues and it does add another level of strategy that I find enjoyable. It allows you more control over the development of everyone in the Minors by expanding the spectrum of improvement. Instead of a few with coach points and many with none, you now have a gradual increase/decrease from 15 to 0. If you carry 16 or more in the Minors only 15 get CP (15, 14, 13, 12, 11 . . . 1). 16 and over get zero -- but 1 Improvement chance per game is random amongst everyone in the Minors, so even the ones with 0 still get some ICs. The guide says 10 a season, but even that is random, of course.Pages: 1
