MVP That Doesn't Make All Star Game

So Hal Gomez wins the NL MVP but doesn't make the all star game. Honestly there were other players that deserved it more than Gomez, but I'm not sure I have seen an MVP that didn't at least make the 2nd team all stars.

It happens sometime. MVP is all about rate and position and the team winning lots of games. All star team is about counting stats. Health contest.
