I would first like to bestow a well deserved pat on the back to a great team who fought and played with the greatest of skill, the Los Angeles Smog, the 1951 Moriarty World Series Champions/
And to the Atlanta Braves the National League wild card team as well as the AL version, the New York Mess who fought to the last out, a sincere tip of the cap to all.
Hope you all plan on staying for the final season of this fine league.
And as Ol' Moriarty would say, ''May you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you are dead.''
