EDIT: I'm betting 20 Runs against a single pitcher, 18 of them earned is a record, also.

I think it could be a record too.. the most runs that I have seen was maybe around 25. 18 earned runs allowed by a relief pitcher has got to be a record too.

I scored 23 runs in a game in another league a few seasons ago. But wow that's a lot of runs

Sad thing here is that would be a HoF caliber SP's final game. He got hurt for 40-some games after that 3-inning relief outing in late August. The team missed the playoffs, and he retired that offseason at the age of 39.
Other than this, the highest run total I've personally seen in regulation was 28 runs. The highest run total any of my teams have been involved in was 26.

Highest run total I've seen was 38 runs, but that was in 18 innings.... and the game was 6-6 after 9. The team in question scored 22 runs in the last 2 innings, 16 in the final inning. The losing team wound up using a SP with 2 bars of energy for 3 innings (1 day of rest after his last start), and he got murdered with 5 HR (2 grand slams) in that final inning. No other pitchers were available, and all the bench positional players had been used as PH. So, I don't think that one counts.Sad thing here is that would be a HoF caliber SP's final game.
