Ok so i made a deal that put me over the salary cap so i am looking to trim 7 million dollars off my roster quick please send me offers.

You're gonna hafta go back to Montreal because it doesn't look like anyone can absorb that salary other than them but since you owe them your 1st this year you'll have to hope they are working in good faith.

I was pretty sure we were the only team that could afford Daughters, so I was a little surprised when I got an offer for him. I just figured Detroit was in the process of clearing cap space so I accepted the deal, which was a little too good to pass up.
I know losing your 1st round pick is the penalty for going over the cap, but I already have that. Hopefully it doesn't mean that I will lose the pick.
I'd be glad to make another deal with DET that will get them under the cap, but I'm not sure about the statute of limitations, procedures, etc. Anybody want to chime in about how to proceed?
