Probably a dumb question but if I sign a player to a multiyear deal but cut him before his contract is up, his salary still count towards my cap in the future seasons right?[Edited on 8-30-2017 by TheProfessorAND1]

Yes ... unless another team claims him while he is on waivers. If he clears waivers, you're on the hook for his salary **even if** another team then signs him.Pages: 1
