Al Kaline League Has Openings

September 02, 2004 at 11:50PM View BBCode

We will need 5-7 owners in the Al Kaline League. We are currently going into 1968 and play 12 games a day. There are not any real complicated rules currently in place. We already have a lot of real active owners so it should be fun. U2U me or post here if you are interested.

I'm just posting this here too because I know anyone from here would be real active.

Jlamas, explain, whats this about being not allowed?

Cubsfan13, id join but ive got the Ruth league and Cobb league which is proably more than enough. However there was confusion in regards to the ending of the contract by some of the people in the Ruth. So that might change things...(but probly not)

Although I have the money myself, Im not sure if my mother would let me spend 55$ on an online baseball game

You could keep it on the down low. Or beg..

Its worth it for sure. His mom would most likely have to know about it cause she is the one with the moolah. So, Jman, I would beg her. Shell give in eventually :)

J, my parents wouldnt have ever allowed that either. I got a money order, and sent it to tyson without my parents ever knowing.

He said he has the money, he could just walk to his closest gas station with money orders.

okay, good idea. Money order it J. Just go to the gas station and ask for a money order. Bring like an extra buck because they tax them. You probably just make it out to Sim Dynasty but id ask Tyson first about that.

He could just send me a U2U, I have Tyson's new address, and I'd probably get back to him faster.

If Placer county is anything line los angeles county, walking to the nearest gas station isn't as easy as it sounds. I'd have to walk roughly 6 miles just to get the nearest gas station, and I live in a densely populated neighborhood. Driving makes it a lot easier...

6 miles, and you live in a densley populated area...

sounds strange

There are about 250,00 people in my city and there is a gas station on almost every corner it seems like

There are only 160,000 people in santa clarita. There's a lot more if you consider the little sister city to the north that used to be part of the city but broke off.

I didnt tell him to walk. I guess he isnt 16... Get a friend to drive you if you have an 16 YO friends. or just kinda sneak in and buy one when your parents go to the gas station.
