Thank goodness for bullpens

OK, some of my starters are struggling and taking a beating, but my bullpen is coming through big time giving up 1 earned run in 28 innings through 8 games.;)

Note to self: do not brag about the performance of your team on the message boards because the curse of the message boards is alive and well. Game no 9 bullpen got shellacked.

through 19 games my bullpen has pitched 55.1 inning and given up 14 earned runs. Now if only I can get my starters straightened out I may be able to overcome my miserable 6-13 start and contend. Bullpen era 2.29![Edited on 1-22-2005 by abarkov]

Bullpen era through 31 games and 104 innings pitched is 2.68. One reliever who's on thin ice has given up 14 earned runs.

Through 49 games the bullpen for the Flaming Cuyahogas has pitched 138.1 innings. The era has risen to 3.13.

The bullpen era has risen to 3.80.....They badly miss Mickey Downs who will be out for another 11 games.

Well Mickey Downs has returned to the active roster from the disabled list and it is none too soon for the struggling Flaming Cuyahogas. The bullpen turned into a disaster in the 51 days that Downs was injured. After 229.2 innings the Cuyahogas bullpen era has risen to a very mediocre 4.31.Pages: 1
