Lifetime Bengals fan (stop with the jokes) and this was big! Offense keeps continuity and if Perry ever stays healthy and develops either or could be traded because of a friendly contract. In Marvin we trust!!!

I don't see how you could take offense to that Dean. It is a well deserved reputation. They are taking a step in the right direction with Lewis but they haven't come far enough to stop the ridicule

Absolutely false, they have come a looong way, anyone who knows Cincy or follows football very closely sees this. I can name at least 10 teams with no direction living only off past reputations just as calling Cincy the Bungles is only out of a past reputation

When your team has more losses than anyone over the previous 15 seasons, you're still the Bungles. They can erase that reputation with a playoff win or two, and with Palmer and Johnson and a great young team in tow, likely will by next season or the one after.

Until they make the playoffs, they are the Bungles. Worthless franchises get lucky every once in a while, and the Bungles are truly worthless if they peak out as a .500 team before descending back into the abyss.

Didn't I just sya that it was a reputation, and as I said a well deserved one. It took NE quite a bit for people to stop calling them The Patsies. They are perenial losers and until they prove otherwise they are the Bungles
