Indians win 9 straight

The Tribe has now won 9 straight after sweeping the Diamondbacks. They are 1 back of Minnesota for the WC and a half game back of Boston, who they play at the Jake starting tomorrow. They finally starting hitting over .180 when Eddie Murray was fired, and Wedgie shaved his 'stache. Keep it rollin....

Indians easily could have won 2 of 3 there, and probably should have. 15 short of 18 instead..

This series reminded me a lot of that series last season in August against the Twins (I think it was the Twins). Just as the fans start to get their hopes up, the team chokes and gets swept.

Yes, it was the Twins. I flew from Texas to the Jake to watch the first game in that series. Met my daughter and we had a wonderful time in spite of the loss. Navigated through all kindsa traffic construction on I-77 to make our way up there from Akron.

I still think the White Sox are pretenders, not contenders. Will probably be the Twins on top, followed by the Indians. Not enough W's for the Tribe to take the WC, though.

Another NE Ohio alumni from Stow/Kent State/Akron U still rooting for the tribesmen! I refuse to die before the Indians win another WS!
