Little League World Series

Who else has been watching this?

I am rooting for the California team, of course, but I have also enjoyed watching the Hawaii team.

After coaching rec leaguers around this age all summer, it is amazing how talented kids can be if they have baseball shoved down their throat year round.

Little League Baseball was an underrated baseball game on the NES. I always picked California, mostly because their star pitcher also hit cleanup.

I liked the Florida team that is coached by Dante Bichette and features his son and Mike Stanley's son until they were crushed by Hawaii. On a side note, Dante Bichette may have one of the most beautiful wives I've ever seen. I saw her in person when he played for the Red Sox and she's just as beautiful up close.

Yeah, Harold Reynolds can talk about how the kids this year have much improved fundamentals over past years. I'm going to talk about the improved MILF%. Seriously.

And just so we don't go *gasp* off-topic... How about that beast from Vista?... He's a monster... I got nothing...

There is a kid on the Saudi Arabia team (all Americans who have parents who work for an oil company) who is 6 foot 5, 240. He couldn't find spikes that fit him so he had to get football cleats. When he stands next to some of those 4 foot 8, 83 pounders, it's hillarious.

Ive watched a few games, My allstar expierence ended about a month ago, but I think its funny to see twelve year olds that are bigger then I am (im 5'8 and 135 pounds) and then see their teammates that are 4'8 and 75 pounds. But I really enjoy watching the little league world series, I think its baseball in its purest form.

did anyone else see that amazing game between Lousiana and Kentucky. It was tied 8 to 8 in the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs and runners on first and third, the batter hit a hard grounder to the shortstop, and the shortstop made an error on the throw to first allowing the winning run to score for Louisiana.

I have to say I've been watching as many games I've been able to. Its nice to be able to watch a game without caring who wins at all. In the pros there is almost always a team that I'd prefer win, but here thats not the case. I'm looking forward to the Hawaii/California-Japan game that will be the final, it will be an interesting clash of styles. That dude from California weighs almost as much as me and is basically my height. This scares me.

yeah these guys r big, but it is fun to watch and see them hit all these homeruns and no that it is all talent and no steriods r helping them. It is the only baseball games on tv that do not have juced players playing.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few of these kids were juicing.

Are you kidding? It's entirely possible. Let's not forget the kid from a couple years ago who was too old. They'll cheat. I know damn well there are parents out there who'll slip something in their kids orange juice. I knew some of those parents when I played.
