The first awrad to go was the MVP, unsurprisingly won by Kevin Avenarius, and also unsurprisingly accepted by both Avenarius brothers who both simply said "We were just too damn good".
32 year old Randy Johnson was in tears when accepting his 2nd Cy Young Award after posting an all-conquering year.
" I love the Yankees, I'll be with them for the rest of my career" he said through sobs of joy.
Little known 19 year old Washington closer Marlon Pell took out Rookie of the Year with 47 saves to his credit. He took the award graciuosly, but pointed out he had had too much champagne to say anything thoughtful.
Thus ends season Sparky Anderson League, may the best team win the World Series!
