Chi-sox losing ground ?

September 21, 2005 at 07:10PM View BBCode

For a while though, the Chi-sox were the rage of baseball. Honestly, I thought that they were going to run away with the central division. But that's September baseball, it really tests teams; the worst play better, and vice versa. As of now they have a 3.5 lead on the Indians. I see them hanging on, but only by a slim margin. And if they do make the postseason, can they go all the way?

I am, but hey I was gone for a minute and the AL central race was the first thing i thought about. Sometimes topics here are actually brought up again.

Go SOX. I hate Cleveland. Tribe will likely get the wild card . They are playing great. The SOX should be able to hold them off.

It really stinks that the sox had to have their biggest slump in September
and it's obviously going to make alot of people question just how far they
can go into the post-season:puzzled: I have no doubt that they are going
to the playoffs and when they get there, they will put September behind
them and so will I. October is when it all counts and I think the sox will
have enough gas left in the tank to make a decent run for the World Series.
But hey, that's just my opinion as a sox fan!At the start of the season I honestly would've never thought they were gonna win 90+ games so it's
all good  Good Luck to everyone !!!

Last season Bosox broke their LOOOOOONG run of futility. This season, it should be the Chisox turn.

The White Sox streak of futility was always worse, and it's not going anywhere any time soon.
