Chicago a few moments ago just defeated the bosox 5 to 3, thus eliminating boston from the postseason. It's still a tough question of how they will hold up the rest of the way. I think that they can make it to the world series, but lets wait and see.October 07, 2005 at 11:44PM View BBCode
I have mixed feelings about this. The Red Sox losing is never a bad thing, but I was looking foward to an ALCS lll because the last two were phenominal.October 07, 2005 at 11:49PM View BBCode
I know exactly what ur talking about. Boston vs New York, you can't get enough of them going at it.October 08, 2005 at 12:09AM View BBCode
One down. Now New York needs to get tossed from the playoffsOctober 08, 2005 at 12:11AM View BBCode
It's possible, but it's something about those damn ghosts....October 08, 2005 at 12:44AM View BBCode
I agree with skier. I am glad Bostons out but the last 2 ALCS were so exciting that I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I think its good but either way would have been fine.October 08, 2005 at 12:45AM View BBCode

The only moment of joy I take from this ass whoopin' is that I will never ever have to see Millar play again. Thank you Jesus. Other than that our pitching stinks and its now time to bring on the Brady avatarOctober 08, 2005 at 12:49AM View BBCode

The White Sox have a pretty good starting 4 and their bullpen isnt too shabby either. If this team goes the distance the pitching will be what gets them thereOctober 08, 2005 at 12:56AM View BBCode
Chicago has pitching and defense, little ball is what they play. Do you have the feeling that suddenly in the next round they will just fall apart after everything they went through?October 08, 2005 at 12:56AM View BBCode

Well, now you say that. Pretty much every post I saw before the playoffs started said the ChiSox were gonna be "one and done." And after Cleveland almost caught them....

Not at all they hit 6 Hrs' in the 1st 2 games plus what they did tonight. They aren't all samll ball, they do whats needed to win. This is a good team I just dont understand why people refuse to believe that.

If Konerko and Dye have an off night than all the White sox have to fall back on slugging wise is . . Carl Everett, who still doesnt believe in dinosaurs by the wayOctober 08, 2005 at 01:14AM View BBCode
If Manny and Ortiz have an off night all they can fall back on is well noone, and they are looked at as one of the top hitting teams in the league. Most teams are like that. If A-Rod and Sheffield are off all the Yankees really have is GiambiOctober 08, 2005 at 02:02AM View BBCode
The funny thing is, I think I heard Ozzie Guillen saying Boston had a phenomenal up and down, and said evem Tony Graffinino was a very good hitter!Pages: 1 2
