Happy Valley was f-ing rockin', you could feel the energy just watching it on TV. It's hard to root against Joe Pa, even if he is a big W supporter.October 09, 2005 at 03:24AM View BBCode
I love it, my alma matter comes through in a big way!!! I was going to the game but a family illness kept me in town. Tough one to missOctober 09, 2005 at 03:31PM View BBCode

He's an old rich white guy from a small town in Pennsylvania. Of course he supports Bush.October 09, 2005 at 05:52PM View BBCode
Politics aside, it's nice to see JoePa back and Penn State back among the top teams in college football. In spite of his contract extension last year, it would be nice if he could put together a 10 or 11 win season with a BCS bowl invitation and then retire. That's how he ought to be remembered.October 09, 2005 at 07:32PM View BBCode
Yea that would be nice and that is probably how he deserves to go out, but he might not ever retire. He thinks (and apparently still can) that he can coach football for a while longer, so it would be hard to imagine him quitting after this year. He is however one of the best coaches in the history of college football and I'm happy for him that he is having a great season.Pages: 1
