Who will be ranked #1 at the end.

This is going to stink about as bad as baseball on steroids. Everytime I turn on my TV, or read the paper in about a month, it's going to be covering how there are 3 #1 teams in the nation, and no playoff system.
So, who will be ranked #1 by the BCS at the end of the year?
I've heard Texas won't be able to hold their rank due to a weak second half schedule, but if certain teams lose, etc, everything can change.
USC, Texas, VT, Gergia, Alabama & UCLA. This is pretty far into the season to have this many good teams undefeated. Thank god Penn State lost, because as weak as the big Ten is this year, it looked like they were going to send an undefeated team to a bowl game to get killed on national TV.

Texas can probably win out. It's entirely possible that in the Big 12 title game they'll face a team that's ranked no better than 15-20th. The problem they face is not on the football field as much as it is in the computers and polls and how they factor strength of schedule.
Georgia and Alabama cannot win out, because they would eventually have to face each other in the SEC championship game.
Va Tech has some good opponents remaining, but based on how they handled BC, don't know that anyone's going to touch them before the ACC title game.
UCLA, USC must face each other so one of them is going down.
So you have the possibility of four very good, unbeaten teams AFTER the conference playoff games...Va Tech, Texas, GA-Bama, USC-UCLA.
If UCLA upsets USC, you could wind up with Va Tech, Texas at 1-2. But, given the strength of schedule they have left, plus each other, it's entirely possible that the GA-Bama winner (if they both got that far) could jump past Texas.
It's going to be interesting, and I'm guessing that at least one undefeated team gets left out of the mix again.

I personally feel it will be USC & VT/Texas. I don't see both going undefeated, and wouldn't pretend I could know which would lose/win out. Obviously, USC has shown they can do it.
Of course, if there was a tourney, it would included ND, Penn State, and some other good teams. Just get an f'n tourney going! It would be awesome.
