[color=Black] [/color]In a recent story by espn news, sons of the late hall of fame great are on a mission to convince the MLB to retire his number in the same manner that jackie robinson's 42 was. According to robinson's daughter to start retiring numbers across the board would be dilluting her father's significance. Personally, I think that to do so would be maybe unfair. The agruement posed from the clemente camp is that their father suffered just like robinson and made contributions as well. Aaron (remember, he faced racism most of his career the worst of it doing his chase of the BABE) as well as other players of color in that era went through the same type of treatment, as well as making contributtions. The question asked here is this: Should Clemente's 21 be retired , why or whyFebruary 06, 2006 at 09:24PM View BBCode
