I've only gotten 3 payments from the owners here and I don't see any way for this league to continue forward. So it looks like we'll be folding the league.For those of you who have paid, or were a replacement owner, please send me a u2u and we'll work out arrangements. There are immediate openings in other leagues.

I wasn't aware that you had to renew. I just thought it was automatic like my other league as long as you didn't stop your subscription to the league

If This league is folding what multi season leagues are out there to join or are there any new leagues forming??

CAL Rules
The rules for this league are pretty basic. Other than the name change rules which are pretty extensive. The rules and schedule are as follows:
1. Games will be 12 per day running every other hour (apon approval and time selection from Tyson, this may change slightly).
2a. Renaming Players - You can only rename players the first season they enter the league. Name changes have to sound like a real name, but players cannot be named after other famous players or people. So you can rename your players after your friends or family or simply change the name to make it sound better since ABE comes up with some ridiculous names. If at least three members of the league complain about the players name you use then it must be changed.
2b. Nicknames - You can give up to three players on your team a nickname. The nicknames cannot be rude or offensive. You will only be allowed to change or shift the nickname of one player every other season. This is to prevent owners from constantly changing one guys nickname or from constantly removing nicknames and putting them on other players. You can have more than 3 players with a nickname on your team if you happen to acquire one or more in trade or off waivers. However, you cannot change or add any nicknames if your count is over 3. You can remove nicknames and have less than 3 at anytime, I'm sure some owners will perfer to have no nicknames. But keep in mind even if you trade a guy with a nickname you cannot nickname another if you have changed or added a nickname within the last two seasons. Again if three owners complain about a nickname it must be removed.
3. Trade Deadline - Any players acquired in trade after Sep. 1st cannot be used in the playoffs.
4. Post Draft Waivers - The first 24 hours after the amatuer draft the waiver wire is only open to the lower 8 teams from the season before, or the teams that drafted 1-8. The four playoff teams must wait 48 hours before being able to select players from the waiver wire pool. Only one player may be selected per team during those first 48 hours. After that it's completely open.
5. Adding Or Changing Rules - I've seen numorous problems with voting on rules. Owners tend to not be active at times and you never get a good concensus. So instead of voting rules will be discussed and then put into place. All owners will be emailed and/or U2U'd regarding the rule. If at least three owners respond against the rule then it either wont be put into place or it will be put to vote. Any rules taken to vote will require 2/3 of the active vote to be passed (rounded). In other words if only 10 people vote, then 7 votes will be required to pass the rule. Owners will be given five days to vote on rule changes unless they have left a message that they are out of town or unavailable, then they will be given until their return (within reason).
