The Orlando Cepeda League consists of 64 teams divided into 4 divisions (Majors, Triple-A, Double-A, & Single-A). At the end of each season the four playoff teams from the National and American Leagues in each division move up toward the Majors and the bottom four teams move down toward the Single-A Division. Your goal is to guide your team into the Majors and win the World Series.
Here is your chance to join one of SimDynasty's most exciting leagues.
You can find more information on the main OCL Message Board. The

First 3 months - $12

I'm interested...but what I'm wondering is, when the teams swap places, you keep all your players right? I would assume this is what happens, but logistically I don't understand how SD could support this as I figure what it really is is 4 leagues that are grouped together, though they are not technically related. Can someone send me a u2u on this? I am tired of one of my other private leagues and would like to try something new.

The OCL treats each division as a separate league, with their own schedule, playoffs, draft, etc.
When a team moves up or down a division, the entire team (all the players) moves to a new city in the new division.
Tyson has written code to allow this to happen automatically for the Orlando Cepeda League after the amateur draft each year.

How long does it take to have payment verified ay Admin? I sent my payment yesterday afternoon, but it hasn't been verified yet. I looked at my PayPal account and it said that payment has been verified. But it also said the first 10 days are free, and then a $12.00 payment will be made, and then $6.25 per month after that. Will I have access to the team soon, or do I have to wait the 10 days? Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks, :puzzled:

This league is still operational? How did they survive the great flood of '78?

Im interested in the Orlando Cepeda League. I really like the idea of the 4 leagues. I guess put me on the wait list and depending on when a spot would open up, i might want to join. I would say id be put in either A or AA. Let me know. Thanks.

I realize that there are no open slots as of current, but if one does open up I would be very interested in taking over depending on he specifics.
