David Ty Cobb is first. Also not having Joe D on your list is really lame. otherwise I would say Foxx should be somewhere around 27 and Jeter should be somewhere on some other list along with Vlady and Bonds.

Actually, he did include Killebrew (14. Killer), but that doesn't save this list from complete and disgusting suckosity.

Why did we start another thread on a topic we went through a week ago?

Harmon Killebrew is a tad underappreciated, Deke. There are all sorts of things wrong with DMA's list, but introducing Killer to the discussion is at the very least defensible.

I still think Ty Cobb as #1 best hitter is the funniest one.
i mean, consider this, bobcat's list might be
worse than mannydavidalbert's.

chipper jones, #22. lol. probably not even a top 25 hitter of his era.
but you know, some people might argue Joe D.

leaving out dimaggio is inexcuseable.

thats what some people might argue. i mean. some people think that a .325/.398/.579 line in a more pitcher frinedly era might beat a .310/.408/.548...

Hmm...seems as though we have a copy cat here. I take full and complete responsibility for this.

As in, clearly one of the 25 best hitters of his generation?

There are 4 or more lists in that thread. Most of them are better.
