His K/9 was way down this year, but so was his ERA. Can one of you sabermaticians opine about his future effectiveness as a closer?

Are you sure you should be posting that link, happy? I'm sure that many people would be upset to find their beloved fantasy baseball rendered completely irrelevant.

The weirder part is his LOB rate took a huge jump in '08 and he had a much lower BABIP than normal, meaning his ERA could have been even worse than it was. Those numbers are all but guaranteed to regress.
Jenks is still valuable even while carrying a mid-3's ERA, but if he doesn't re-discover his strikeout ability, then 2007 will probably be his peak.

Do people still play fantasy baseball?

That's how I make the money to play SD (slight exaggeration). But I am actually good at fantasy baseball, as opposed to the fifth place finishes I routinely come up with here.

A lot of saberheads are really good at fantasy baseball.
also, as its a relief pitcher, his low K rate (or even his high K rate in 07) may be largely statistical variance.
