Is Dikembe Mutombo a Hall of Famer?

Why not.

Oh:

Well with the bigman injuring his knee against Portland and telling us his career is over, its time to look back on his career. Of course there is the playoff win against Seattle and the four defensive player awards, but lets be honest, his teams never won a title. [color=black]So the question is, was Dikembe Mutombo good enough for the hall of fame?[/color]

The only fail greater than regular fail is calling someone a failure whose tongue is planted in his cheek.

Did you know that Dikembe Mutombo once shot and killed a poacher who was on his land trying to kill his pet ostriches, and then stuck his dismembered limbs, torso and head on his fence as a message to anyone else who would dare try the same thing? Everyone else who ever did that is in the Hall of Fame (Dolph Schayes)

Dude's rocking the Copa Mundials though, so all is well.

Anyway, the finger wag will get in with Freddie Brown's music collection, Darnell Hillman's afro, and Anthony Randolph's "is he crying" expression.

Seriously, he is the best person ever. I want to hug him. He's like KG, but shorter, more emotional, and less angry.

i didn't realize basketball had a hall of fame. i'm told the only one that matters is baseball's.

People really don't care about the hall of fame, except to occasionally discuss Robert Horry's credentials.

If you let Robert Horry in, don't you kind of have to let Steve Kerr in, too, since he's the pasty white side of that coin?

You are viewing the raw post code; this allows you to copy a message with BBCode formatting intact.
And also Von Wafer.

Or not.

But then you run into the whole "ex-Blazers with funny names," which opens the floodgates for the Ime Udokas and Reuben Boumtje-Boumtjes of the world.

no

but dennis rodman is.

deke just didn't have the affect you would expect from a dominant defensive player.

rodman did, IMO.

I love the guy, though. He's in the human being HOF, as far as I'm concerned.
