So the blogospheres and twitterworlds are all abuzz about how Tim Lincecum got robbed for accepting a two year $23 million deal from the Giants.February 13, 2010 at 08:05PM View BBCode

Yeah, if he stays healthy and puts up numbers over these two years, hopefully the Giants can lock him up long termFebruary 13, 2010 at 08:31PM View BBCode
maybe he would have won, maybe he wouldn't have. but this way he gets an amount pretty close to what he was asking for, reduces his earnings risk in case of an injury somewhat, protects his free agent years and preserves an aimicable relationship with his team and their fans. as deals that avoid arbitration inevitably invovle a dollar figure in the mid-point of the two submissions, i don't really see where he's made a poor decision.February 13, 2010 at 10:25PM View formatted

the guy is 26 and has won back to back Cy Youngs, that makes me think 2 years 23 million is an incredible steal no matter what the injury potential is.February 17, 2010 at 03:27AM View BBCode
I just love the fact that the Giants had $8 million, Lincecum asked for 13, both teams got their way.February 17, 2010 at 05:25AM View BBCode
