Trade Block

April 22, 2010 at 05:08AM View BBCode

I have added a way for you to shop a player on the Trade Block. When viewing the player card of a player on your team, there will be a link near the top of the card to put him on the Trade Block. Once he is on the block, a space on the player card will appear that allows you to put in notes as to what you want for that player (255 chars max).

Players on the Trade Block are marked on team Depth Charts with the icon. Hovering over the icon will show the notes for that player. Going to the Trade Desk will show all the players on the Block for the league, and clicking on the team link on a player on the Block will go to the other team's Depth Chart in Trade mode with that player already selected for trade.

Any feedback on this feature is appreciated.

Yeah something's screwed up, it's April 9th and no games have been played plus the schedule page doesn't even show the 1st six games as it usually does once the O/S has run .

The master schedule's run out of data. Tyson's resetting it now. This had nothing to do with the new feature, it was just a coincidence.

i totally endorse not showing the draft pool until the season is over (even if it was by accident or something. but..

where's the draft pool?

(also, i could totally endorse not having a draft every season, because everybody has way too many players anyway. )

:)

Well you have too many players because Washington hasn't had a .500 season in about 30 years and most of those season are 100+ lost season. :spin:

Draft visibility date is settable by league so theoretically a private league could do the draft pool at the end of the postseason.

Back on topic, though, if anyone else could try out the trade block, that would be great... even if you don't really want to trade someone (just mark in the trade block comments that it's not real). The more people that hit it, the fewer embarrassing glitches I have to fix after release.... :)

Thanks!

Sent an offer testing the Trade Block... the offer is a test of the system, not an actual offer.
