I've got to be honest, hockey runs parallel to the NBA so I don't usually watch, but I've watched all of the Final and it's amazing. Tim Thomas...dude is unbelievable (and very lucky at times).

it looks like luck, but it's really not. believe it or not, he's doing that on purpose.

It may be the strangest final in any major sport I've ever witnessed.
In Vancouver the games have been extremely close, although objectively the Canucks have been the better team in all three, and Vancouver has won three one goal games. In Boston the games have been absolute blowouts, Vancouver played reasonable well in game four but really it's like they are a completely different team .
I mean really, three games in Vancouver : 1-0, 3-2 (OT) and 1-0 with the only goal in either 1-0 game occurring in the third period. Three games in Boston: 8-1, 4-0 and 5-2, with the score flattering Vancouver in the 5-2 game . If the finals were a total goals series Vancouver would be in the face of a 19-5 deficit, but instead all they have to do is stay unbeaten against Boston at home.
Despite living in Vancouver I am not a Canucks fan, they are
not a likable team, but they were hands down the best team over 82 games and have handled every bit of pressure the playoffs have thrown at them, generally without grace but there are no points for that.
The bottom line going into game seven is that unless Boston finds a way to solve Luongo at home, where his numbers in the final are sensational, Boston will be stymied again.
I honestly have no idea what's going to happen, but I'm sure gonna watch it, and wait for the riots - win or lose Vancouver will riot .

I didn't know people in the Vancouver could riot. I thought all the pot smoking prevented that...

You may not be old enough to remember 1994, the last time the Canucks went to a game seven of the Stanley Cup final.
Check out the newscast here.
I was working in a downtown restaurant at the time and we locked the doors went up to the roof and watched the whole thing while enjoying a cold beer, I'm hoping there isn't a repeat tonight but I sure won't be shocked if it happens again .
There are roughly 100,000 people a night in the downtown corridor watching the games on outdoor giant screens and even with a high profile police presence 100,000 can go sideways in a hurry.
