BPFL--New Birmingham Owner, please

February 15, 2012 at 03:39PM View BBCode

The Birmingham team is a mess. Fulla posted in December that he should be removed from the Testers owners list ([url]http://www.simdynasty.com/oldforum-viewthread.jsp?tid=321071#pid1749541[/url]). Could we please get someone new for the Birmingham team.

Thanks

If you could bear with me, right now that team is really useful to me in its decimated state for testing. I will get it straightened out and reassigned by the weekend.

If you want, I will pay attention to the team. Or find a new owner. Whatever you like?

If it is a useful testing team, then do not change it. This is a testing league. I can accept a 'spare' team, I was just concerned that it was forgotten.

Besides, Rich's success is based on those two easy wins (plus the fact that he plays very well! :) )

A test team doesn't bother me.

Birmingham should be automatically boosted tomorrow (well, today now) when the new minimum roster limit code takes effect.

Well, it would have if we weren't in the postseason.

If you need a new Testing Owner, I'd be more than willing :D

Should something have occurred when the OS ran?

Roster looks the same still. Does it wait for PS1?

It will happen at PS1's first quarter. After that I can let Ed have control.

Not sure what was supposed to happen but the Brahmas still have only 26 active players, 33 inactive, and we're in PS2.

I think it's actually set to go off on Week 1 when the cap goes into effect. I'll check.

That makes sense. In the preseason, we can have different roster sizes and be over the cap.

It shouldn't kick in until Week 1.

I'm going to run two more games tonight so I can make sure it is working.

Looks like we are already into Week 1.

I see many players auto-waived.

Birmingham still doesn't have enough active players, though.

Whoa, Chris! Slow down there. League is already on Week 5!

I think I have the kinks worked out of this now.

Birmingham is making great strides under new ownership.

Outscoring opponents by 103 points in starting 3-0!

Nice work, EdSales.

Thanks! I am trying a new Offense to test the effectiveness of 2 plays. I can't wait till I get some players to fit this system better too!
