When Punting really matters

That would be when you don't have a punter, as Cleveland is proving.
In the first half of our preseason game today, his backup QB punted four times. We blocked two, one went for -1 yard and one went for 3 yards.
This is the best guy FABE could assign.

I think I had set them to stop drafting punters and kickers and never turned them back on.. I'll clean them up tonight.

They are using a wide receiver as a placekicker right now.
That QB that is punting is abysmal. I have it heavily favored to use a QB to punt if no punter is available, maybe too much so. Someone's got to be better than that guy.

Checking that QB in my tester, his average punt is 4 yards and his longest is 10 after 10000 punts. I'm gonna have to nerf punters with very little power.

OK, even the worst punters should average at least 19-20 yards with the strategy slider in the middle now, with the worst punts going 7-8 yards rather than being behind the LOS.

always nice to see something pointed out that leads to an improvement ...

That's what testing is all about. And I don't test the bottom end
of things as well as I should.
I'm going to leave them without a proper kicker and punter for a while for testing.
