He's definitely bringing it, this season. The move out of the AL East and into the DH-less NL Central has certainly been good for him. He's looking less like the disaster he was with the Yankees, and more like [url=http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/burnea.01.shtml]the solid pitcher he was with the Blue Jays and Marlins[/url].[url=http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/2880/aj-burnett]Originally posted on Rotoworld[/url]
A.J. Burnett was superb Sunday, limiting the Reds to two runs on just three hits and three walks over 8 2/3 innings in the 6-2 victory.
[color=blue]He struck out seven. Burnett got the first two outs in the ninth inning, but Pirates manager Clint Hurdle decided to pull him after he issues back-to-back walks. Joel Hanrahan then entered and got Todd Frazier to pop out to end it. Burnett will carry an impressive 3.19 ERA and 1.15 WHIP into a juicy matchup against the Padres. LOL about Ed Whitson.August 10, 2012 at 03:36PM View BBCode
Even with last night's outing Bedard's ERA is 5.76 since June 1st, he had a great first two months but has really been patently awful since then.August 10, 2012 at 03:59PM View BBCode
He had those two absolute disaster games during that period. Take out those two starts (15 ER in 7.2 IP) and his ERA during this "down time" has been a much more respectable 3.988.Pages: 1
