They will get more than their payroll in revenue sharing money, meaning that the Yankees, Dodgers, Phillies etc. are essentially paying the salaries of the Astros. Pittsburgh did this for years, collecting more than their payroll out of the revenue sharing pot then fielding terrible teams while essentially banking millions a year.
