I want to know how a B+/A, B-/B+ hitter has a .544 slugging % and 23 homers on the 5th of July .

Well he's facing about 80% RHP, and it's likely those ratings are high on the scale for both letters. I expect he'll jump to A-/A+ after this rookie season.
Also, we play in a tiny park, so his home splits are also very favorable.
