Not sure how far out of the ordinary this is, but I was pleasantly surprised by [url=http://simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=10685174&statsorimps=imps]Sam McGeachy[/url]'s 1997 improvements. He was 21 most of the year, with only 3 CPs on him. Dynasty League (no variable improvement).

the number of ICs for 3 CPs is pretty exceptional. The conversion rate seems above average too, that's tight, a guy you probably weren't really counting on. Did you have any guys with 5 CPs that got shafted cuz of this guy racking up the chances?

The 62 chances is certainly odd, the 1997 conversion rate is a bit high in a void but compare it to his horrible conversion the year before and overall he's still less than 25%.

For a 20/21 year old coming off a C+/B- base with a velocity heavy split his conversions are about right, but the 62 chances is certainly a bit of an outlier.

Nobody got shafted that year, but like Rooster said, McGeachy got shafted the year before, and this kind of evened it out. But yeah, I wasn't counting on him at all; he was an in-season 20 year old who was F/B-/C+ and C+ overall. Now he's going to turn into a serviceable setup man.
