Since "colorable merit" is a subjective interpretation from the bench and since sanctions under Rule 11 may only be granted after notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond proceedings will have generally already reached a point whereby the accused will already have committed financial resources to the case prior to any Rule 11 decision.Pages: 1
