Fantasy Football Sleepers

With the football season upon us, I'm sure alot of you are in some fantasy football leagues. I am always looking to get any kind of edge I can. Therefore, who is / are your sleeper(s) for this year?

I like Tatum Bell's chances with Denver and their O-line. I'm sure I can think of more but I have to go to work so I'll post them here after perusing my 5 football magazines.

If you're going to take a rookie, I'd go with Cadillac Williams or Ronnie Brown.

Cadillac Williams has none of these downsides, and Gruden supposedly loves him. I just bought the Cadillac with a 3rd-round pick in my league, and I'm thinking he could have a great year.

I've read that Cedric Benson has been out of camp so long that he may be looking at a significant chunk of the season on the sidelines. Once he does get the ball, defenses will be all over him now that the Bears have lost their starting quarterback.Cadillac Williams has none of these downsides, and Gruden supposedly loves him. I just bought the Cadillac with a 3rd-round pick in my league, and I'm thinking he could have a great year.

There is a chance Cedric Benson will not play a down all season. I'd be shocked since they can't be all that far apart on $ but both have given their final, no changes, last effort, won't negotiate stance... which of course means they are probably going to compromise soon.

Ehhhh.....nah, I'd have to pass on Edwards for the reason that Cleveland is going to be awful this year and with no decent complementing receiver, defenses will key on him, especially since the running game scares no one.

Edwards will need a few years because hes'a rookie and he has Trent Dilfer throwing to him. Once Charlie Frye is ready (two years) and Edwards has matured a little he will be a great receiver.

Yeah, I saw that game. An interception, a sack, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and he was involved in just about every single play; reminds me a lot of Derrick Brooks or Julius Pepeprs if he played LB. Ware is my Defensive ROY and a perfect fit for the 3-4 defense.

I would avoid Braylon Edwards. I would rate the rookie runningbacks in this order: Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Cedric Benson. As far as sleepers go Priest Holmes is a big one, I relize he isnt much of a sleeper but its scary to think that he was on pace to score 30 rushing Touchdowns last year and 2,200 yards, yes he is 30, but injuries happen to everyone and thats not any reason to be scared of him. Heres another scary stat, in only 8 games Priest Holmes was still the number 11 fantasy back, thats means he produced more fantasy points the players like Clinton Portis, Ahman Green, Beuce McCallister, and Fred Taylor.Other Sleepers to watch for: T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Reche Caldwell, Carson Palmer, Anquan Boldin, Charles Rogers, Lee Evans, Jerome Bettis, Jeremy Stevens, Moe Williams, Santana Moss, and The Buffalo Defense.

Furios my point is he should be the number 1 player selected, and he will most likely fall to the 4th or 5th spot so take him if he is available.

At 4th or 5th? A 32 year old running back who played 8 games last year because of knee problems? Thanks, I'm good.

Six years behind schedule, bud, and he shouldn't go No. 1 overall. 30 is the danger zone for most running backs. Last year's injury-marred campaign is not a fluke, it's the shape of things to come, so be smart and take a sure bet like Peyton 'September thru December' Manning or young LT at No. 1 overall.

Bettis is a big sleeper. He is used for short yards and goal line so he should rake up tds for u.

My biggest sleepers:
Tatum Bell (good running back+playing in Denver=easy 1,000 yards)
Willis McGahee (10 touchdowns in only 6 games)
Julius Jones
LaMont Jordan
Michael Clayton (could've argued him as offensive ROY last year after 80 catches/1,193 yards despite Tampa's QB roulette)
Keary Colbert (with Muhammad gone, must step up and take pressure off Steve Smith)
Top QBs:
1. Peyton Manning (duh)
2. Donovan McNabb
3. Daunte Culpepper (if not for Manning, would've been the talk of the NFL last year)
4. Trent Green (had a career year at 35, but hasn't missed a start in 4 years)

If LT is not selected number 1 something is seriously wrong with your team Running backs are the key to fantasy success and here's my top 5 picks:1. Tomlinson
