Split stats and stats on the Lineup page

I've made a few cool changes.
I've added support to track batter stats vs LHP and RHP. This will start with the regular season games next season.
I've also added a toggle button on the lineup to show Skills or Stats. The way it works is that it will show the Split stats for that player. So if you are on the vs RHP page, it will show stats vs RHP.
If your league doesn't have that feature available yet, it will simply show the player's stats. That's what it is doing right now. League's will have to wait until an OffSeason runs before split stats start being tracked.
So far, I've noticed that I can't set the lineup. I'm working on that right now.

I am looking forward to the changes. Right now the toggle is not working and there is no individual stats page with stats showing.
I assume it is because:

By the way... is there more than one Beta League?

Sorry, I'm still debugging. I will let you know when its ready.
Our beta league is the only one that actually plays games. There may be some other junk data or partial leagues that I setup while testing different aspects.

Ok - I've fixed all the issues. It should work fine now - let me know if you see anything, especially once the season starts.
I had to re-do how all stats are tracked during a game, so we should keep a close eye on how stats accumulate before and after games run on Beta.

I ended up tweaking this a bit so you can display splits OR regular stats.

After running the first game, I found that RBIs from a HR were being counted twice in the stats and not at all in the stats vs RHP or LHP. I have corrected that.
Also - I'm looking to see how Games are being accumulated. I think it makes sense to only credit a player with a game if he faced a LHP or RHP in that game.

Tyson,
Game 1 just played. My Milwaukee team started against a righty, and if I select "show stats" I see the stats; but if I select "show stats VS RHP" it's not showing any of my at-bats for the game that played.

I fixed how games are added. I also added Splits to the player cards. I'm working on pitchers now...

Ok - I need to add some more code - its only tracking this for the Home teams! Stay tuned.
Also - I made an error with games played for the splits, which has been corrected.

That should be straightened out now. The split stats from the first 4 games may be wrong - there were a few quirks that were worked out.

Any chance the splits will get added to the stats pages (i.e., Stats tab, Individual Stats or Team Stats)?
Also, the spacing on the rotation page seems to be out of whack right now. The first column (with the pitcher names) seems to be taking almost the entire screen width, and all the remaining columns are smushed over to the right hand side.

I'm probably going to leave the splits alone for now, release them to the public, then maybe do some other things with them later on. I did add them to the player cards.
I fixed the pitcher page.

I fixed the pitcher page.
The spacing on the pitcher rotation page is fixed, but I'm not seeing any output change when I actually click on the various stats radio buttons. It just continues to display ratings regardless of what option is selected on the rotation page.
I'm also seeing no output on the splits section of the pitcher player cards for pitchers that DO have games already.

rzn's right. My pitcher page isn't changed by the buttons.
Also notice that gm #5 was skipped. Don't know if that was intentional.

I haven't gotten to that yet - had to eat lunch :) I'll try to put something up today. For now, nothing will happen.

Howdy Tyson. Sorry for delay in posting, been traveling. I love the split stats!! One of the improvements I have been waiting for a long time. In addition to where they are now located, I personally use the individual stats a lot and would love to see the splits there as well but certainly on the RHP/LHP lineups & player cards are very usefel indeed. Thanks Bryce

Thanks Bryce. I'm going to do this one area at a time. We'll probably look at putting this on other pages at some point in the future.

In reviewing the split stats for batters and pitchers I noticed:
- Batters vs LHP and RHP do not have stats for SB, CS, and E - Why are these stats missing?
- Pitchers vs RH and LH do not have stats for GS, W, L, SV, CG - I can understand that these stats are not relevant when broken down to stats vs RH and LH.
- Pitchers vs RH and LH do not have stats for ERA - Why is ERA missing?

I'd also be curious as to how you determine how many innings a pitcher has thrown against left and right handed batters. I'm going to work on the assumption that each out would count as 1/3 of an inning with hits and walks just accumulating without counting for innings. I'm not sure of the validity of that way of doing it but I suppose its as reasonable a method as I can come up with.

I don't know how you can figure out earned runs vs LHB and RHB - the stat seems a bit meaningless depending on the method you choose. This is why you always see stats like opponents batting average when people break these things out.
For example, I walk 3 left handed batters, then give up a grand slam to a right handed batter. How many of those runs are vs LHB or RHB? Or another example, I walk 3 left handed batters and then induce a RHB to ground into a double play, scoring the runner from third. Does that run go vs RHB or LHB?
Anytime an out is recorded, that goes down as 1/3 of an inning vs either LHB or RHB.
I didn't put SB, CS, and Errors for the same reason. I wasn't sure how you break this down. Errors doesn't make any sense. I suppose SB and CS should be based on who is on the mound at the moment, not necessarily who you reached on.
I guess I just think these kind of stats can be misleading and confusing, so I left them out.

I like the splits view on the player cards.
How about including splits for the totals so we can see lifetime stats vs LH and RH batters and pitchers.
