This league would be a salary cap league.
I am working with Admin on getting some type of regular data dump with the stats we need. If our needs are too cumbersome, we'll have to manage it ourselves (each team manager would be responsible for calculating their own salary values).
I would like to have regular checkpoints where salaries are computed and compared against the cap, perhaps weekly or monthly?
Values/points per stat used to determine salary need to be agreed upon by the league, but I think there are a number of commercial fantasy systems we could use as baselines for default values.
Trades and waiver wire additions need to fit into the team cap.
Injured players would create a cap relief situation for the period the player is on the DL. Once a player is healed, the relief is over, regardless of whether the managers recalls the player from the DL or not.
I would like to keep this as simple as possible the first 3-5 seasons to see if it's even doable.
I'm open to other options or ideas, and if anyone is a really good excel or stats manipulator who wants to partner on this, I'd like to make it as easy as possible for owners to participate but realize many of us, me included, have full time jobs so time to work on this would be key.

Been thinking about this for some time, maybe it's time we try to get one going. Not sure who's interested, but if we can get 16 owners who want to give it a try maybe it'll be fun.This league would be a salary cap league.

Yeah, let me know what you think jzirker. My thing is pretty complicated at first, but I think its doable with the right owners and it should become smoother once everything is set up.

this has been proposed so many times, but just like the NRL has to many rules and will lead to the downfall of the league in the future!
