Is it just me or has he been playing HORRIBLE since going to Philly. Last night against the Nets for example he went through a stretch where he missed 8 field goal attempts in a row. He refuses to go inside and has become a 6'10" mid range jump shooter, except he doesn't seem to be knocking them down. He only started knocking down his shots yesterday at the end of the 4th quarter when his team was down by 18. Every time I see the Sixers play (which isn't that often) he struggles. He seems to always be like 3-11 from the field and he is missing free throws, not playing defense, and lagging up and down the court. I realize that the knee injuries have made him slower and less explosive than he has been in the past but he was a 20-10-5 guy when the Sixers got him earlier this season but he has done nothing as of late.April 18, 2005 at 09:43PM View BBCode
The problems Webber have experienced in Philadelphia can be summed up in two words: Jim O'Brien. His system is baffelling. To begin with, the offense should run Iverson to Webber and then back outside but O'Brien doesn't like his big men to dribble at all, he hasn't made any moves to run plays through Webber and his substitution patters are bizarre at best.April 19, 2005 at 12:47AM View BBCode
Chris Webber just has a lazy style of basketball, the ball comes to him and he proceeds to slowly, slowly work his way towards the basket, killing the clock (and momentum) in the process, this just isn't going to work with Iverson...Pages: 1
