That was a nice moment with his grandma there after the game, you know? And then I remembered this:
(Shoulda been you, Justin Duchscherer. Shoulda been you.)

anyone who calls ARod a lowlife is ok in my book...

Maybe for the right reasons. Walking across "his" mound? Excuse me, his "island"? No, that is finger-mustache retarded.

In the pantheon of "A-Rod douche moments" walking across the mound is about equivalent to entering a crosswalk 2 seconds before the light turns green. It's nothing.
Some "unwritten baseball rules" make sense (admiring your home run is a serious dick move, and just makes you look like a retard if it dies in the outfield.) Some have fallen out of favor (retaliatory beanball is frowned upon nowadays) and some are just nonsense. This "walking on the mound" thing falls squarely in the third category.

ARod's a baseball lowlife, and any reason to call him that is good enough for me.
The smacking the glove incident, the yelling at the fielder as he passed him... all bush league tactics, as was running across a mound.
Not criminal, but douche-y.

It's always fascinating to find out which athletes you inexplicably hate.

Hate? Who are you, dikedevil? I never said I hated him. I believe most fans (even Yankee fans) find ARod douche-y. I'm merely agreeing with Braden, and the inexplicable hate being thrown his way.
But I'm glad the things I say fascinate you.

Alex "glove slap" Rodriguez is bush league.
Alex "I've got it" Rodriguez is bush league.
Alex "walk across the mound" is also bush league.
If it was any one of these byu themselves, then meh, it happens. He's done all of these and only one actually violates written rules in baseball.
How I wish for the days of the retaliatory beanball. I wish we had pitchers in the league like Rick Sutcliffe, who gave up on a perfecto to retaliate against the other team.

ah, I guess you never saw him bounce a basketball off Mario Elie's coconut? from about 6 feet away? really hard?
the fact that Mario is Albiez's hero makes it all the more heinous.

That you are so upset about this is baffling to me. But not as baffling as amolatina.com. Just wow. So many wows. It is breathtaking. Are you going to buy a Colombian wife? I was just looking at a nineteen year-old with a four year-old son, I'm sure that she'd be delighted to get out of Medellin. She'll pretend to like the Astros and everything.

let it go, just let it go. I'll not discuss the other stuff you said in other threads. I even made my avatar shandon for about a week to play it off.
my remarks about it lately are light hearted, and in no way reflect that I am upset. never was, in fact. again, I was merely playing it off. I thought that you, of all people, would get that. I didn't communicate that very well, apparently.
I did my best to engage the OGL, but realized that I'm just not thick skinned enough. It's on me, and that's it, and that's all.
If I throw Mario/Shandon out at ya, it's a wink-wink, not a hateful insult.

oh, and I got the image from google, and am blind enough to have not noticed the website, nor ever gone to it.
it is funny that it was from a wife buying site, though.
thanks for looking carefully and letting me know. I would never be interested in a Columbian wife. I like my women like I like my coffee...

thats kind of amazing to have never run across a stupid person in real life.
(shep lives in a utopian society of supergeniuses. He was brought in as a joke that everyone thinks is very funny.)

happy, I didn't say I'd never run across one. I said I don't KNOW any. See the subtle difference?
You really do try too hard to be clever. I'm sure you know lots of stupid people, because, LOL, birds of a feather...
