nothing that has bradshaw in it has ever made sense. he also has never said anything that made sense. the steelers were the awesome though, actuals.May 06, 2010 at 08:33PM View BBCode
I debated Bradshaw being that he was a mediocre QB with a stellar group of receivers, but that much jewelry is hard to argue with.May 06, 2010 at 08:35PM View BBCode
Hey I love the Steelers and grew up watching the Bradshaw years but I'd be hard pressed to put him in the top 20. Above a 3 time MVP yes, in the top 20 QBs of all time-no.May 06, 2010 at 08:41PM View BBCode
I must admit I was born way after his playing years. So I only the know the man, the legend, the myth(also the rings). But if you do look at his numbers, Mr Steel Arm is not so impressive. I honestly would make a case that Kurt Warner is a top 20 QB but prob not a top 10. Which impressive for a former bag boy.May 06, 2010 at 08:41PM View BBCode

If you make the case that Bradshaw is considered one of the greatest b.c of the hardware you have to make the opposite case for marino. Marino probably had the least amount of weapons by far of all the all great time QB's. I would have no problem putting him number 1 over montana, unitas, or whoever.May 06, 2010 at 09:05PM View BBCode

My greatest sexual conquest? Jeff Garcia's second cousin. (He is from here.) He will always be one of my favorite players. He also usually wears #5, one of my favorite numbers.May 07, 2010 at 02:24AM View BBCode

Incidentally, Bill Buckner's daughter touched me once. (Not in my swimsuit area.)May 07, 2010 at 01:18PM View BBCode
buckners tend not to much good at touching things between legs anyway.May 07, 2010 at 02:09PM View BBCode
Bill Buckner's younger fraternal twin sisters graduated in the same class as my mom. His baseball cards say he was born in Vallejo because there is no Kaiser hospital in Napa. Mom says she didn't know them, which means either she didn't know them, or they made fun of her for being half Japanese, as was the style at the time.May 09, 2010 at 05:46AM View BBCode

Just to revisit the fact that Josh McDaniels traded what turned out to be the #14 pick in a good draft class for the #37 pick in what was considered a relatively weak draft class. For not being patient, he wound up with [url=http://www.nfl.com/players/alphonsosmith/profile?id=SMI037429]this level of production last season[/url].
Yes Josh, [url=http://broncotalk.net/2009/04/6787/broncos-news/denver-broncos-draft-2009-recap/]we're looking at you, and we don't like what we see...[/url]. The defense obviously needed playmakers, and [url=http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009]Orakpo was there for you[/url], yet you selected a running back at 12? I know we're supposed to wait a few years before evaluating any draft, but McDaniels made both tactical and strategic mistakes the first time...and I don't have much hope that he'll make better decisions this time around.

It's interesting how many people have the perception that Dan Marino was one of the top QBs of all time. He never won a Superbowl, so his claim to fame is supposedly statistical. Yet he had a career QB rating of 86.4.September 08, 2010 at 11:50PM View BBCode

does anyone else find it odd that they name staubach the qb of the 70's but rank bradshaw in the top 10? because it seems sort of strange to rank one above the other on one list and then reverse it on another.

Yeah, like how your player can win the MVP but not make the All Star game in SimD?
