Someone needs to run the ball when they are up 41-7 in the fourth quarter.

i'll say this for the ravens, when they take a penalty, it's a pretty big one.

After the fact I know but they stated when they signed him that he would be inactive . It was purely an emotional/motivational/pr move, he did lead the team onto the field though I believe (I didn't see the game) .

I repeat, Farve is a lowlife and I hope the Saints destroy his whiny, punkass.

That's as slimy as you get.

Pushing a guy in the back when he is not looking or sticking out a leg to trip him (both of which are penalties) generates no response...but a harmless touchdown at the end of the game when the team is already winning big (which is not a penalty) is slimy and whiny?

Wow...

Would it have not been slimy if Tarvaris Jackson had gotten the TD at the end?

i wasn't the one with his shorts in a bunch over it, but i'd have to say it would probably have felt less slimy to those who took offence, yes. that's just me though, others could certainly differ.

That's the Favre factor, not the underlying situation. If it had been Drew Brees vs., I don't know, whoever the backup for the Saints is, the difference between those two things would be much, much less.

As it is with any sport, if you don't like the outcome, do something about it. Don't blame Brett Favre about the fact that the Cowboys fell apart. It's not Brett's fault Tony Romo couldn't get it together.

The TD is just a scapegoat. Once you realize that the whole team is to blame, you won't be mad. But that's just me. I went through all that Steve Bartman bull. Alex Gonzalez, Dusty Baker and Damian Miller are to blame for that meltdown.

But really, there's no reason to add insult to injury at the end of the game.

(unless its the cowboys. Although Favre can still eat a dick.)

((go saints.))

It was a total dick move. But it was way, way less irritating than the whining from the Cowgirls and their fans.

Mark Brunell. Now there's a man who can hold a football on a game winning kick. Maybe it's the punters' faults that so many field goals have been missed.

So it looks like that Albert Haynesworth jersey is going to become a legacy item in record time.
