well hockey in KC has already gone belly-up once, so naturally bettman wants to put another team there. it's been at the top of his list for some time now, apparently. one of the main reasons for his opposition to balsilie's first two ownership bids in pittsburgh and nashville was that the team was going to move to canada rather than KC or vegas. bettman is a complete tool.

My DEL team was named the KC Urban Penguins. Now it's the KC Urban Islanders. Maybe I should change it to the KC Urban Coyotes? As long as it's not the KC Urban Panthers.

I don't care about the team either way, but the Kings are going to surprise this year. An 8 seed would not surprise me, but 90 points is a given. And hopefully this year Florida finally gets in.

I am home at 4:30 most of the time this season, so I might order Center Ice and get to watch my cats on a regular basis, finally, although really it's the Tim Hortons ads I am more excited about.
