by that logic, turtle, no lifetime AL pitchers would make it either, since, you know, they never played offense.

Thomas is an example of what happens to a player when they don't take steroids. With age comes decline in bat speed and injuries. He's going to be a first ballot inductee, I mean he has a 419 OBP, 310 BA, 974 OPS, and 1700 RBIs, with over 500 HRs, 2x MVP. Come on are you kidding me. what more does he have to do.
