11 passes in two games. 2/8 last week and 9/20 this week.

ESPN has had me laughing my ass off with the Chuck Norris Tebowisms. My absolute favorite is the following:

"Between 1945-1948, Tim Tebow impregnated 53 women...They gave birth to the 1972 Miami Dolphins."

I figured it out. Tebow's offense is mostly running plays. 2 runs and 50/50 on 3rd down between run and pass. If that is the case, Tebow and the offense is able to pull up to 2 minutes off the game clock as compared to the Pass first offense run by Orton, which would pass on 1st, run on second, and pass on 3rd and long, meaning the most Orton could run off the clock with a 3 and out is about 45 seconds. That extra time on 3 and outs means that is approximately 1 minute and 15 seconds less time the defense could be on the field.

This savings adds up. Denver's Defense, besides being healthy now, is more rested than they were weeks 1-5. This lets the defense remain effective through the end of the game, something they could not do under Orton.

One has to wonder how ugly next week's score will get. Denver doesn't have an answer for Gronkowski. My feeling is it will be Gronkowski early and often. Denver will score it's fair share of points, but our offense, even going against the worst defense in the NFL (look it up, that Pats defense is that bad), can't hang them as fast as New England.

Yards per game isn't a great measure of defensive prowess, the two worst teams this year are a combined 23-3, as winning teams often give up yardage late in games.

New England's defense isn't great by any means but they are far from the worst in the league .

How can anyone watch Denver win games with Tim Tebow, and not realize that God not only exists, but still performs miracles?

(Does this belong in off-topic...or a defunct OGL thread?)

(darens, a coworker and i had this exact conversation on the way from the metro stop this morning. only moses, possibly, can contain the Tebow.)

i refuse to believe that god cheers for the broncos. everyone knows he's a cowboys fan. that's why there was a hole in the roof. he just doesn't like the new stadium- the scoreboard obstructs his view.

Oh, He's not cheering for them, in that sense. He's simply enabling them to win against all odds, as a testament to His power, and to show that our Faith should be in Him, not in our own fallible abilities.

(And we all know the Cowboys are like the Philistines of the Old Testament. He'll let them win only to punish His people when they don't act right.)

if he really wants to make a statement, he should make the browns win.

if HE did that, there would be no need for faith. Everyone would know HE was the One and True GOD and the whole thing would be pointless.

God hates the Indianapolis Colts and god loves the Denver Broncos.

What a god this one is, eh?

I think that's one of the signs of the upcoming apocalypse.

Wait a second.

"When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come and see!" I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Tebow, and Elway followed close behind him. "

Oh, let me present side by side evidence that Harrison's hit was dirty.

Legal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX73rtcm9lg
Not Legal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfFW-Yezv0k

Now, you all know that if there was anything remotely questionable about a hit on Brady, there would have definitely been a flag. McCoy is not held in that same group, yet Dumervil got no flag and Harrison got all the laundry.

yes. Steelers fans keep insisting that McCoy ducked so it would draw a flag.
