I'm sticking with what I've been saying since the start of the NLCS. Astros in 7.October 26, 2005 at 01:52AM View BBCode

Fantastic, the ump blows a call which should have been strike three and Podsednik gets a single the next pitchOctober 26, 2005 at 06:40AM View BBCode
Holy Jesus...Blum isn't absolutely worthless after all.October 26, 2005 at 12:10PM View BBCode
Well, if the Astros win it will have to be in 7, lol, but somehow I really doubt thats gonna happen.October 26, 2005 at 02:49PM View BBCode
Yeah. Oswalt didn't have the explosive fastball--you could see that early on. He got away with it early, but they hit some real shots in that fifth inning. The floating strike zone was a factor, but he threw some real meatballs up there.October 27, 2005 at 04:36PM View BBCode
Your wife is a very smart person, not many people predicted the white sox sweeping. Its over and now I have to suffer for a whole 6 or 7 months with no baseball. :(October 27, 2005 at 04:44PM View BBCode
You can always watch the Jets. Or the Knicks. Or the Rangers. Those will all be good.October 27, 2005 at 05:10PM View BBCode

THE WORST ball and strike umpiring I've ever seen in a postseason. Way too much inconsistency.
On Saturday, I said the series was too close to call. My wife said White Sox in 4.

The Yankees did just barely lose the series though thanks to Joe west!October 27, 2005 at 06:51PM View BBCode

Just because it might not have changed things, doesn't mean it didn't happen. A good team will play through bad breaks - even some of the big ones that happened this post season - and it wasn't like the Cardinals, Angels or Astros just barely lost the series they played in. Still, there were more poor calls and less consistancy in the strike zone than one expects in the post-season.

I'm starting to watch Colorado a little now since they're on TV here. Good win last night, but I know nothing about hockey still.Pages: 1 2
