I think the deal helps both clubs. I will miss Lee though. I love seeing his numbers in the box score everynight.

Adding Cordero helps allow the team to deal Turnbow.

Ultimately, it's a deal that is going to hurt the Rangers more than help. Carlos Lee would have been a good rental for a team with a legitimate shot at winning the World Series. For the Rangers, who don't have a legitimate shot, Carlos Lee is going to be a very expensive boondoggle.
