oh. yeah, i can buy that totally. I thought you meant it was sad to watch their decline. They have been run by idiots the entire time I've been watching. I always figured Angelos would be in east baltimore one day, and someone would take one for the team and shoot him.

were the trial held in baltimore, said person would likely get off.

likely is an understatement. Freaking angelos. Freaking...kid...who...caught that "home run" that jeter hit in the playoffs. Apparently that's my dad's secretary's nephew. screw him.

(it all sucks. I think east has the irish communities or something, they probably care more about baseball...)

Sounds like the Redskins. Maybe it is contagious...

Says the "Cowboys" fan. Or whichever historically awesome team(s) you root for in the NFL.

For some reason I thought it was Denver but I could be wrong. Probably am because that doesn't make sense based on his New York residence and his "Florida ties"

new york residence and "florida ties", yeah sounds like a cowboys fan to me.

Redskins are no team to be ashamed of. I mean, the Norv Turner era was pretty bad, but other than that it hasnt been horrible.

If George were running the team, I have little doubt he'd sign Manny to stick it to the Sawx and cement the lineup...but I'm not sure the sons have that same savvy and passion (Hank appears to be bluster without substance, and his brother seems more conservative than his father).

also, sports executives lie from time to time. i bet mcphail told that guy from seattle "this trade won't get you fired."

Angelos is probably glad Dundalk isn't nearly as bad as it was 15-20 years ago.

MacPhail is a really good GM. I am very impressed. God i hope angelos doesnt fire him. Then it might be me doing the shooting.

I'd make a joke about how that means that both Wally and Eddie Haskell are stealing from the local 5 and dime, but in truth it's probably all meth labs.

grow ops, actually. that and my wife's former spec ed kids doing b&e's or beating up little kids. oh, and there was the one murder late last year. dundalk also has the highest rate of spec ed kids in the county. i don't think it's a coincidence.
