In response to the "keeping the defense off the field", I havent seen any article about whether or not "keeping the defense off the field" actually has a positive effect on the defense. (remember, the opposing offense is getting rested too), I would assume that it most likely does. But im curious as to how much. Anyone seen an article about this? (note, if its "number of points as compared to time of posession", dont waste my time)August 11, 2008 at 07:37PM View BBCode
Oh, also, using the extremely liberal approach to QB influencing everything, all of the players who play on offense and defense affect every single play in the game.August 11, 2008 at 07:39PM View BBCode
What about Space Camp? Couldn't that be potentially dangerous?August 11, 2008 at 07:41PM View BBCode

not you good sir. FG. He pointed out i used the "appeal to authority" logical fallacy, which must mean that he thinks I am trying to deductively prove my point of view by appealing to authority.

lol ... this is true ... I suppose I could ammend by emphasizing "touches the ball every play" but then I would have the QB and Center being the most important! lol
Still, it's painfully obvious that QB is the most important single position in any professional team sport. This cannot be stated more simply.
Will Faneca make a bigger difference than Favre? I don't know. I do know that the combination of the 2 moves will vastly improve the Jet offense. Faneca was an integral part of a Steelers O-line that enabled Willie Parker to be among the league's rushing leaders the past few seasons. He's a very good lineman.
I suppose that you and I will just have to agree to disagree about FO. I do my own analysis and it has served me well. Most of the time, they seem consumed with circular reasoning and arguments that are impossible to prove.

also, if the J-E-T-S scored 47 does that mean that Favre didnt score a TD on every posession, or does it mean that there were some safties and 2 point conversions in there?
