UTEP sure crapped the bed at the end there.March 17, 2005 at 10:27PM View BBCode
That one where it would have been a backcourt violation sucked. The Ute clearly pushed the Miner. It was downhill from there.March 17, 2005 at 10:28PM View BBCode
Ha ha. Deveau and I have the same bracket so far, I gather.March 17, 2005 at 10:30PM View BBCode
At least I picked Cincy. I assume you both picked Nevada over Texas. I picked Texas, but it was based only on who I want to win. I think Fazekas could kill them, unless Buckman, who is quite possibly the most streaky player in the country, has a good game.March 17, 2005 at 10:33PM View BBCode
I'm 6-2 so far.March 17, 2005 at 10:34PM View BBCode
I picked Iowa, but am still 7-for-8 so far. Go Huskies!Benne: there is a Pacific in Forest Grove, but they're D-III. I know, because we used to kick their ass in basketball when I was at UPS. The Pacific in the tournament is in the Bay Area, like someone above me said.

Yeah, I picked the Wolf Pack. My team in the tourney is definitely Gonzaga. Only team in it I can say I really root for. Other than the Zags, I'm pretty much just rooting for the dogs all the way through.March 17, 2005 at 10:38PM View BBCode
Other than Texas, I'm basically cheering for my bracket and underdogs. I guess I'll cheer for Oakland, some. I have a cousin who goes there and that quote by their coach, where he said if they win the whole tournament they'll be 19-18, was pretty cool. The only teams beside Texas I'd root for would be UIC and UTSA, but they aren't in.March 17, 2005 at 10:39PM View BBCode
The Utah-UTEP game was a good one. Thankfully my bet that Andrew Bogut would be a beast in that game worked out. A couple of those early games screwed me up so I needed that one.March 17, 2005 at 10:40PM View BBCode

I have UW-Milwaukee in my Sweet Sixteen. Not really surprised they won today.March 18, 2005 at 01:00AM View BBCode
Great, in the four games right now all the teams I picked are losing (assuming Winthrop is still beating Gonzaga).March 18, 2005 at 01:10AM View BBCode
same for most people I think. That Texas game will be a fantastic 2nd half. 'Zona is a Jekyll and Hyde team and they played like a$$ in the 1st half, so they'll come back on fire in the 2nd. Wake...well, I believe I said they were overrated in this entire thread. They'll pull this one out, but they are NOT a final four team. And damn it, I almost picked Winthrop because I wanted to have a 13 or 14 seed and out of all 8, they seemed the most likely to pull it out. However, I think the Zags win this game.March 18, 2005 at 01:12AM View BBCode
Fazekas didn't do crap and Texas is still losing. That scares me. Hopefully Gibson gets going.March 18, 2005 at 01:13AM View BBCode
There was a very high number of traveling calls in the first half of that Wake-Chattanooga game to go along with a lot of sloppy play. All of the games are shaping up to be dog fights in the second half. It should be very interesting.March 18, 2005 at 01:15AM View BBCode
Yea. I wish they would do a 4way split screen so I could watch all the games. That would be dy-no-mite.March 18, 2005 at 01:18AM View BBCode
Fazekas didn't score, only had one basket, but he had 8 boards, so he's still making an impact. That will be the best finish out of the 4 games on right now.March 18, 2005 at 01:19AM View BBCode
Definately. Its the most even matchup. Hopefully Buckman gets back to what he was doing early. He scored 8 in the first few minutes then just had 4 points the rest of the way.
