What kind of a call was that? Out of the baseline? Does the baseline go in a curve now or something?October 11, 2005 at 02:23AM View BBCode

Brown went 14-9, 2.39 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, .236 BAA in 2003 for the Dodgers, but he's been pretty much a load of crap since then.

I really wanna know how much they're paying him....October 11, 2005 at 02:33AM View BBCode
wow i like this, the young kid is owning the yankees hahaOctober 11, 2005 at 02:34AM View BBCode
Hey if you ever expect Joe West to call a good game you're going to be sadly disappointed. He's always been horrid.October 11, 2005 at 02:50AM View BBCode
I'm surprised that the Angels don't have anyone up in their pen. Clearly that's their strength and they've had short leashes with their big guns (like Lackey). Santana has been getting in and out of trouble all night, so there is a chance that the Yankees can put something together here.October 11, 2005 at 02:50AM View BBCode
Come on the Yankees have to get some calls, and now the first base ump is in on it too! Although A-rod should have put a little more on that throw...October 11, 2005 at 02:53AM View formatted

Well, that's it for Santana. He really did do a great job. I'm happy to see him go:DOctober 11, 2005 at 02:56AM View BBCode
Yeah Jeter, as much as everyone says Jeter is overrated you gotta admit hes great in the clutch.October 11, 2005 at 03:01AM View BBCode
you guys might be happy he is gone but now you got to score on a great bullpen.October 11, 2005 at 03:02AM View BBCode
I have to admit no such thing. He's a fine player who gets way too much praise for his "clutchness". Through yesterday's game he had been hitting .235/.278/.412October 11, 2005 at 03:04AM View BBCode
Another missed opportunity. The trio of Rodriguez, Sheffield, and Matsui has been awful this series. I do like the chances though if Escobar stays in to pitch the 8th. He pitched 1.2 innings yesterday and is coming off of surgery earlier this year.October 11, 2005 at 03:07AM View BBCode
Although, he used to be a starter, so he'd probably have enough to go 4 innings in 2 days, right? I hope you're right.October 11, 2005 at 03:07AM View BBCode
still a very good game, and Johnson is nothing special right now, i think the angels like hitting him.October 11, 2005 at 03:08AM View BBCode
Johnson's looking pretty special to me so far this gameOctober 11, 2005 at 03:13AM View BBCode
getting nervous, randy is actually getting hit just they are hittig it right to the defenders. the Angels have to hold them!!!October 11, 2005 at 03:13AM View BBCode

Yeah, I'm not sure what you mean by that. Johnson has been terrific tonight. If he only pitched like this Friday this game might not even have to have been played, but oh well... If the Yankees lose his effort will go unnoticed but if they win he will deserve a lot of credit.
