True. Which demonstrates three things people should keep in mind more often.

1) the NFL is not college
2) it takes more than one player to win at any level
3) god does not care who wins football games

Sooooooo, let me get this straight. Under John Fox the Broncos go 46-18, never miss the playoffs and go to a Super Bowl so they fire him and hire Gary Kubiak and his sub .500 career coaching record ????? I mean John Fox won a playoff with Tim Tebow as his QB, that in itself should mean job forever .

I'm going to be in Vegas in March, I'll be putting down some money on the Bears making the playoffs.

how do people feel about this hire, by the way? it kind to feels to me like a 'get the band back together' move like the ones that have worked out so well for the Edmonton Oilers.

John Fox should be happy to get out. This is the year the wheels come off. Last season was the last of the good Manning seasons, and now the O-line is weakened before the first snap.

I was totally correct and they still have not lost. 5-0 and they cant run and can barely pass.

if only he could play qb.

(hey! do you know who they should have hired...)
Insert points that Carolina drafted a QB, Cam Newton, who led them to three consecutive playoff appearances. Meanwhile, Elway and the Broncos hire the coach Carolina fired, John Fox...selected Von Miller with the second odverall pick, behind Cam...and made the playoffs for three straight seasons, including one Super Bowl appearance. Then Fox gets fired and Kubiak is hired as head coach.

Except for the wheels falling off, the rest of this was true, and the "playcalling genius", Kubiak, won by putting handcuffs on his QB and letting his defense take him to the championship.

(A defense led by Wade Phillips, who was fired by the Cowboys in November 2010, shortly after this thread began, and who was noted several times in this thread.)

UN-REAL!!! :D

(All of which results in this becoming the BEST THREAD EVER!!!)
